Im so lost as to potential acceptance/denied schools. Here are the stats-
Soph year- 2 honors and one AP- Messed up big time this year. 1st sem. got 3.5 wieghted 2nd sem i got 3.65 wieghted. I wasnt invovled in many school activities, but voulnteered a lot.
Junior year i took 3 ap classes and calc. I got 4.15 both semesters. I recived many accolades and was very active in school. I was class president and was chosen as one of 6 school representaives out of 50. Overall Wieghted GPA is 3.82.
Im a 3 year varsity athelte and have logged over 150 hours of community service soph/Jr year. Involved in basically every school activity my junior year. I even raised an animal for market at the local fair. Every day for 3 months spending each day and night feeding, walking and cleaning my animal. Also worked 100 hours at my fathers farm over my Soph year and 200 my JR year.
This summer Im taking two classes at city college (gov't and pub speaking) to help improve my UC GPA and make me more competitive.
ACT on my first try i got 24- but scored in 98th percintile on the essay section.
SAT I recieved a 1670 with MUCH room for improvement. Im taking SAT class this summer and plan to take ACT two more times.
Im just lost as to where i might get accepted- I REALLY need some honest guidance as to where people believe i will get in. Few schools id like to look into if i had a chance- USC,UCLA,UCBerkeley,UCSB,SDSU,Pepperdine, UCI, and UCSD. Any reccomendations would also be great.
Honest opinions would be VERY GREATLY appreciated.

What’s your UC GPA? If you don’t know, what are your UNweighted GPAs sophomore and junior year?

The thing is, UCs are very SAT/GPA heavy, so while you do have some good activities to put on your application, ultimately you still need to have a high enough GPA and SAT to be in contention.

To be honest, a 1670 SAT isn’t going to cut it for Berkeley, UCLA, UCSD, USC and depending on your GPA, will make Pepperdine, UCSB, and UCI pretty darn hard. SDSU is in range.

However (again, depending on your GPA), if you can significantly improve on your SAT, then many more doors will open for you.

My UC Gpa is 3.77. I know i could raise my SAT to 1800 minimum. Is their a number i should be shooting for? I will put in whatever time is neccesary. ACT also has room for improvement. On SAT i recieved 620 on reading section but on ACT it was my lowest point. Thanks for the help.

But that will also raise when they recalculate my gpa with the college classes. I believe it was a 3.85 with two projected a’s

The great news is that you have great ecs, makes me jealous =(. You definitely need to raise those SAT scores. You want to get a 1950+ on the SAT for the mid-tier UCs and you are definitely in for UCI and UCSB. For the upper UCs like UCB and UCLA, you have to hope for a 2200+ and they may forget your gpa (kinda low). They are still reaches even if you do that well on the SATs, but still apply if you do well next time. I believe anyone can do well on the SATs if they practice correctly and practice frequently. If you are dedicated into raising your score, I don’t see why you cannot get a 2200+. Best of luck!

Edit: What is your class rank and SAT 2 scores?

my class rank is 52 outta 770 and i havent taken the sat II
