Ok…the UC app asks for three essays, totaling as close to 1000 words as possible ( 600, 200, 200). It also says the long one can be 630, so are we then supposed to compensate for that by shortening the smaller ones?
Also, how bad is it to go over to around the 1030 word mark.
PLEASE answer, I need to make these corrections ASAP.

<p>I know the direction is kinda confusing. it says "no more than a total of 1000 words." so I assume max is 1000--no more than 1000, but then it says "you must stay within 1000 words as closely as you can" which means it's ok if you go a little above or under.</p>
<p>I decide to go with 'max 1000 words' direction just to be safe. After a lot of editing, I managed to make it exactly 1000 words (195-205-600)</p>
