Hi guys, so i am almost done with the testng procees and all i still have to go through is the reateke of the sat!
In fact, i first took it in october, and i did all by the book and was getting like 2300's on practice tests and was very optimistic unntil the day of teh test came..
The night before the test i got soooooooooooo stressed and couldn't sleep,i got insomnia that night and on THE DAY i was so tired and distracted .
Howveer, math was too easy to even think about it(i missed 2 easy level q's ang ot 770) and so was the writing , i messed up the essay though. In fact, the ideas for the essay were great bt then i inserted a wring paragraph(don't know where it came from??) and messed the balance of the essay, besides the ideas in that parag weren't elaborated!I got 730
But, the CR crucified me !!!I got 650!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I never got less than 730 and would even reach 770 but 650::where did that come from ,it really destroyed me.I know i messed the last section but not that much; missing almost 13 Q's???? I fought my fatigue to understand the passages very well and then that??
So let's just say, that the score was a great disappointment!!
Anyway, i am retaking with not much of an additional work just reveiewing the vocab, grammar rules, and doing a couple of practice tests and certainly retaking with much, mucccchhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh sllllleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep!!!
What do you advise me to do??
Thanks!!

So what exactly is the point of this thread?

^ my thoughts exactly

My only advice is not to write your essay like you wrote this thread…?

I advise you to take some pills or some medicine to make you sleep. That way you’ll be sure to get your rest. Also, try taking some vitamin pills to help you with the concentration and everything. Hope everything works great for you :)

Don’t. Freak. Out. Simple and easy as that. You clearly have the ability to do well, so at this point it’s largely psychological. Your greatest enemy is yourself, so you just have to learn how to control your nerves and let yourself succeed.

The same thing happened to me. I just couldn’t sleep the night before the test. So was kinda tired and distracted during the test. For the first few sections, I was doing okay. Then i just totally screwed up on the last few sections as I was feeling drowsy and just wanted to get done with the test. So next time, I’m gonna have a real good rest and gonna just make some little review the day before the test. If I don’t get to sleep, gonna take some medicine or sth.

you shook…
cuz ain’t no such thing as half-way SAT takers.

I hope some of you get the reference… :
