I don’t know much about Emerson but after learning they offer a LA campus, which is far closer to me than Boston, and boast a well known theater and film program, I’m more curious.
Can anyone tell me how their theater, screenwriting, and film production majors compare to other LA colleges like Loyola Marymount University, UCLA, and USC?
The LA campus is only available for one semester, and you have to apply and be accepted to that program. My son is there now. He will graduate in May with a BFA in Media Arts Production and a minor in Business Studies. He has loved his time at Emerson. He spent the fall of his sophomore year at the Kasteel Well facility in the Netherlands. He did apply to Loyola and USC, but was not admitted to either so he went to Boston.
