<p>if i go to emerson college in boston, i will be studying writing for film and television. i love the location, the students seem cool, and they have a lot of extracurriculars i'm interested in--fashion design, filmmaking, etc. however, i have heard that emerson is not so great academically and students have trouble finding jobs after college.
if i go to usc, i will be studying english with a creative writing emphasis and a screenwriting minor. i didn't like the vibe at usc as much; too much school spirit and football and greek life, although the campus was beautiful. however usc supposedly has an amazing screenwriting minor, not sure about their creative writing.
cost is not an issue. i'm thinking about academics, the social vibe, study abroad, and opportunities (internships and jobs etc.)
anyone have any opinions? : )</p>
