DHL shipment from USC:what does this mean??

I’m in Israel but I didn’t apply as an International although they now I live abroad so I am really confused about how they’ll go about my decision…

AAA!!! just got the DHL email!!! I really thought I wouldn’t get it!!!

I’m from Peru btw… not US citizen

choco, I’m also a US citizen living abroad and you will receive your decision letter through mail, not e-mail. It’s just that some internationals are getting emails right now from DHL saying they should be receiving a package from USC soon - I got accepted during the first wave and I never got that email.

See, I told you you’ll receive it
congartssssssss!!!

Thank you  !! This is really exciting

Ponce, from one international student to another, congrats! You too Brooke!

chocoblow59:

Last year poster beeish was a US citizen living in Australia. She was very concerned when the Internationals started getting the DHL email and she did not. It turned out that they sent hers by US Prioroty Mail, not DHL. So last year at least, the method of mailing depended on your International vs domestic status, not your location. Here is the thread where beeish mentions this quirk: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-southern-california/722088-dhl-package-international-transfer-student.html#post1062649526

Good luck!

congrats:)
MagicalMalik you really relieved me I was sure I was rejected cuz I didn’t get an email! I really hope you’re right!!
thanks alamemom!!

MagicalMalik - so THAT’S why your package took so long. Your post is confimation they are doing it the same way this year. Thanks!

hey everyone!
I just recieved the email from DHL too!!
I’m an american citizen living in turkey. So I’m not intl.
So do you know for sure that DHL emails mean acceptance?
and congrats to all who got accepted! Hope to meet you someday at LA :)

do you happen to know anyone else from Tarsus who got that e-mail?? =P

greetings from Uskudar :D

haha honour??!! yeap! so far 3 people among 8 applicants recieved the email but I havent talked to all of them. did you get it either?
btw: i gotta change my username now :D

I just received DHL notice too!
But my status is still ‘forwarded’ and no RSVP box or additional boxes appeared in my account… hmm Is this true for everyone else?

btw, I’m a US Citizen living in abroad~

:))))) everyday my gladness for having the “forwarded” status grows.

I got the DHL email today.
So… this must be a hopeful sign right???

According to some friends from last year… DHL means acceptance…

This may come off as a trivial and silly question but, what’s the weight of everyone else’s package? 1 pound? Cos I have a feeling that that’s a tad bit too low for a fat acceptance package… :p

as i wrote somewhere else before… that is not the weight of the package but the slab it falls under… shipping price slabs are under .5 Kg or under 1 Kg… or in non metric countries lbs

oh…thanks for the clarification. is your’s 1.0 too?

i got the same email I hope its an acceptance. mine says 1 lbs too. So is it acceptance?
Can some of the accepteds who got their packages tell us what dhl said for your package’s weight? was it heavier?
