<p>Is this supposed to be an essay or just an explanation of what's in the box? If I'm sending other writing samples with the project, is it ok if I just list in bullets what my box means?</p>

<p>my brother applied for the DHS and got it in 99, i applied last year but didnt get it (oh well)...
the thing is youre supposed to sue the box very creatively...so my brother, who was a great poet/english major, wrote poems around the box that were about boxes (boxes as metaphors, etc.)
i myself, who was big on the school newspaper, wrote a satirical article around the box and put a picture of me in it...the only reason i didnt get the scholarship was that my GPA wasnt high enough...thats also the reason i didnt attend Tulane, and I now deeply regret it (I'm also transferring there...).</p>
<p>repeat...i <3 tulane, but am not sure if i really want to go there...can you elaborate on why you regret attending and why you're transferring? what's drawing you there? are you in-state? have you looked at any other schools in new orleans?</p>
<p>I don't go to Tulane now, but I want to transfer there...its a lot of factors...mostly being the student body and the location, not to mention academics, class size, New Orleans vs. Columbia, MO, etc. etc. I've heard great things about it from both current students, and my brother, who loved the school and New Orleans itself...it was kind of up there on my list, but I decided not to go there for financial reasons, and opted for my current large state school, which, though cheaper, is just not my kind of place...</p>
