diability friendly

Ok, I am an international - sorry for typos or silly question or anything else.

I am looking foward to apply at UCSD, next year - it's my dream school. The problem is I have some problems in walking: I can walk by myself, but pratically only on plain ground and I can do the stairs only with something to lean on.

I heard that UCSD is VERY big, but has it lots of stairs, or inclined roads or something like that?
is it really that big? there are very much people? so much that you get to be pushed by others? or is it walking friendly?

Thanks!

There are hills (well, kind of one hill that extends a decent distance). It’s not overly steep, but if you have trouble walking than it could be difficult. There are definitely inclined roads/walkways. Mostly it’s just slightly inclined, but if anything other than flat ground is difficult to walk on, then it could pose a problem. There are some stairs but you can avoid them if you want to. No one’s going to push you over though–I wouldn’t worry about that.

If you have a documented disability, though, you may qualify for rides through the disability services office. They have little carts that they can give people rides to and from class.

Oh nice! That’s positive
Thank you for your help - really :)
