not party

I am an international student, and i'm looking foward to apply to SDSU next year.

I heard it is a party school, and its degree are not very valuable. What if I want to study hard, and I do not like parties? Is it a good school for me? Or should I change?

Thanks

@woahika:
Any school can be a “party school”. If you are not into the party scene, then don’t participate. There are many students that are not into partying.
Regarding an SDSU degree is not valuable, I wouldn’t think that SDSU would be ranked as one of the best “small” research universities for nothing. Also when the average student GPA is 3.8, I wouldn’t say the students are not serious about their studies.
Relax and enjoy the fact you got into a school that had over 77,000 applications this year and you were one of the select few that got in.
BTW my younger son is also looking forward to attending SDSU this fall. GO AZTECS!!!

sorry, I meant I’m applying, not accepted!
thank you very very much for your help :)

another question - is SDSU disability friendly? I mean, has it lots of stairs or leaning ground or anything? is it big?
I have difficulties in walking, but I can walk by myself at my own peace, so it’s kind of a problem for me if there are too many people that can bump into me, or there are too many stairs or something.

@woahika‌ SDSU is disability friendly. They have a special office that helps accommodate students with special physical, cognitive, or learning needs. Upon acceptance, contact their office and they will help you with whatever you need.

Thank you :)

Someone please can answer the questions above? It would be very helpful!

SDSU is a pretty big campus, but at the most, you’re classes will only be 10-15 minutes a part walking. Yes, there are quite a bit of stairs since the campus was made on a small hill. And you won’t be bumping into people even during the busiest passing hours, so don’t worry.

thank you very much!
