I am going to speak with a counselor Friday to make my final decission but here are a couple of my concerns... First I am 44 years old and just now starting my gen ed classes. To get into this program I need something like 24 gen ed hours. THEN there are 3 other classes to take just before entering the program... assuming you are accepted. BTW this is an assoc degree program that takes 2 years once accepted. The program starts each fall. My concern is in getting in all the classes AND getting accepted by 2014. I'm not getting any younger! I guess I'm wondering if I should go into something else that doesn't take so long, such as something with a certificate. I really want at least an associates when I'm done, and with a certificate in say Nuclear Medicine, I could still work on an associates. I guess at my age I am concerned and want to choose the best profession.
