Did anybody get missing financial aid notification from MIT?

So I just noticed a few days ago on my myMIT account that I was required to bring in an original copy of my passport or some other citizenship documentation to the office; I brought it in yesterday. With decisions being released in less than a week, I would have thought that they would have emailed me about the missing documentation. What do you guys think: possible hint at rejection? Did anybody missing financial aid docs get an email this past week?

I have also been notified through the MyMIT account rather than receiving an email. Lets be optimistic and hope that its not a rejection. What I still don’t get is why the office would update and process student information (which costs them time) if they know that the student has been rejected… Also as far as I heard, they have not finished all the decisions yet.

I was also required to bring in proof of citizenship and only noticed by accident on my myMIT account because I did not get any email about it. I think they send emails about missing application documents, but not financial aid stuff since not everyone even applies for financial aid. I hope for both of our sakes that it’s not a sign of a rejection but I guess we’ll find out in 5 days… Good luck!!
