Mine did. What does that mean?? I'm referring to the "Carolina Connect" site where one can see their admissions progress/status.

Bump;;;;;;;;

What did it change to and what was it before?

Gosh, thank you for replying, nobody responded. Anyhoo, my first status was very stark, it said “No to Do’s”, I could check my standardized scores, but very limited. That’s all.
Today, just on a whim, I checked my site and it now had things like: sign up for classes, “enroll now” “check your financial aid”…lots of stuff. But at the bottom it still said, “your decision is not available”. But it was a huge change in the online site, could be something, or nothing :/

I just checked mine and it changed too…maybe they’re just preparing it to update the decisions eventually? I have no clue but I’m sure it’s nothing to worry about

Well, thanks for responding tennis. I wasn’t worried (have 2 acceptances elsewhere)–I was just checking the status thing since UNC-CH is my top choice.

No problem! It’s one of my top choices as well, and I can’t wait until january when the my unc page actually does change (hopefully with a good outcome)

How come so many people have viewed this page, but no one is talking about the change in the status page except you and I, Tennis? I’ve checked out your stats Tennis, and it seems to me like you can go to any school you choose!! Best of luck!

Why thank you! I hope so lol and probably bc a lot of people who look at other threads are not applying this yr/a recurrent students ect and wouldn’t be able to answer your question anyway

Will have DS check his account tomorrow to see if he notices if it has changed. It takes a few weeks for adcoms to get applications materials filed and loaded online and you may just be seeing the natural progression of their making progress with getting them organized.

D checked. Hers changed too. I expect Dowzerw is correct as far as what it means.

I agree wahoo; but a fleeting moment, it was kind of exciting.

Checked son’s account. It reads as yours does now. Dont think he had checked it previously since responses are not due for a while. It does show his application is complete and in another section is information about enrolling for classes but at the bottom of the page it reads that admission has not yet been determined.

Dd’s still looks the same–she has great stats BUT she’s OOS so it’s a longshot
Hope it’s a good sign for you!

Well thanks, Beach Mom, but I don’t think it is a good sign or bad sign because on one of the most recent UNC Admissions blog alerts they comment on people who have incomplete applications and then they have a little photo that shows the web site page I’m talking about and how to set up an “student center account”. I’ don’t have the link available right now, but if you go to UNC admissions blog and then to 11/19/2012–it’s right there.
Oh well, it’s all good, time will tell, to all thanks for responding :)
