Did anyone get a scholarship who did not apply for FA

With that in mind I was wondering if there were any applicants that got “merit” scholarships that did not apply for FA.

In order to be considered for the Deans Scholarship and Founders Grant (the BU merit scholarships) you have to submit the CSS Profile and the FAFSA. If you do not, they won't review you for those awards.

The engineering and university imply that they do not. Anyone receive them?

I got a merit scholarship without applying for financial aid...I got into the CAS Honors program...they just offered it to me....I wasn't really expecting it so that was a nice surprise after my assumed rejection at CMU....
They called this scholarship the University Scholarship

posting for my son,

He received half tuition- engineering scholar-and two semester funding to do research!

^how do you know whether you have been awarded with a scholarship or not?

do you check under the "financial application status"?

unefille...I sent you a message about the scholarship....It's under a tab called "Financial Award Decision".....you can also see it under the "Financial Assistance" tab

I got NMF (half-tuition) without applying for FA
