<p>Unless you're planning on going for an athletic scholarship while at Wake, I don't think discontinuing a sport during your senior year would hurt your changes. I got some "scholarships" although they sound more like merit aid.</p>

<p>$20,000- 5/315, 1340 SAT (low verbal, english is not my first language), Laureate Diploma, 3.77 uw, 5.39 w, 12 AP's, 7 Academic Clubs, Philharmonic Kid, Over 175 Community Service, Helps support a kid in Honduras....lol talk about Pro humanitate.</p>
<p>One of the chosen Wake Forest National Merit Scholars must have decided to go somewhere else, because today I got the letter saying they've chosen me. Whee! :) So that's, like, $3000. Whoo. ;)</p>
