Is it true that everyone who applied for Comp Sci got sent to NYU Poly?

No one? Well, that puts my hope in the dumps…

It may take longer then 2 hours for people to answer you. I’m sure someone can give you some sort of answer in the next day or so.

Sorry! I’m just really anxious.

Thats not true. I applied to NYU CAS for Comp Sci and haven’t received any email. I haven’t gotten any sort of interaction with NYU in a long time actually.

Yeah, same here. But those who have been contacted on their decision to NYU have been sent to NYU Poly. So it makes me wonder if anyone actually got into CAS for Comp Sci. :T

I think we did! woohoo?

I really do hope it’s WOOHOO! for both of us on April 1st.

What is the main difference between the programs? My son hopes to major in computer engineering.

There’s a conversation explaining the difference. Here’s the link to it.

or it could mean we were so bad we got rejected? AHHH?

Thanks. We are going down for the scholarship dinner on thursday so I an sure we will hear more.

From what I gather… Despite some negative comments. NYU poly sounds like a good school for a serious computer engineering student. I like that there is also the opportunity to minor in a non CS subject.

Yeah, I don’t understand why people are putting it down so much. I’d be content with being accepted to NYU Poly.

I guess we’ll find out in ten days.
