<p>From what it seems, most people who applied to CAS for Comp Sci got sent to Poly instead.</p>
<p>Wondering if this is an attempt to further integrate Poly into NYU?
Maybe by "we cannot admit you to CAS" they mean "we cannot admit you to CAS because we are slowly trying to relocate our comp sci program and want to start now so go to poly!"</p>

<p>This happened to me and I know a few others. I think the best bet would be talking to a Poly rep on a visit and telling them you want to do a B.A degree in CS and seeing if NYU can re-evaluate your application for RD or something. Not sure. My guidance counselor told me based on how I compare with students that graduated and got accepted to NYU CAS before there was a strong chance I would get in.</p>
