Did anyone get accepted to pomona w/o having a 2000+ sat score? O

<p>OR GOOD SAT scores in general?
Cause my gpa is pretty good, as well as my rank and my extra curriculars, letters of rec, but i feel the only thing holding me me back is my SAT scores. i got an 1810.</p>

SAT Critical Reading: 710 - 780<br>
SAT Math: 690 - 770<br>
SAT Writing: 690 - 770 </p>

<p>25% scored lower than 710, 690, 690. You’d need a hook (hispanic?, artist?) and some pretty spectacular recs and essays.</p>

<p>I know someone who got in with FAR BELOW a 2000, below an 1700 even if i remember correctly…he was a URM and I believe he had his counselor write a letter saying he was bad at standardized tests…but still its the only case I know of personally.</p>

<p>I had 2030 and 1950 SAT, but my ACT was 33</p>

<p>It’s incredibly unlikely that anyone would be admitted with an SAT around 1800. Possible yes, but only very rare cases.</p>
