it's just in on my account, which says "view your decision"
I was accepted on 4/4, I guess

Sachmoney: have you ever set up your wolverine account?

I think the rest batch of decisions will be released all on 4/15

hahahah... no the thing is I heard that it is easier for people if they try to transfer in Sophomore year...

[/quote]

If you transfer to spend your Junior / Senior year at U-M, it is easier. However, as a Sophomore, Junior, Senior, that is hard.

U-M is rolling, and most decisions should be out soon (from what happened last year)

If there is no View Decision on your Wolverine Access, there is a very very high chance that you did not get accepted :(

Good luck to everyone!

What is the transfer rate for the out of state students?

I have no idea
Does anyone else know about the rate for out of state students?

My niece has a 3.89 gpa in honors classes from MSU and is applying to LSA. She is an excellent writer and i'm sure her essay was fantastic. Unfortunately she hasn't heard yet, except to be told the her "decision is in the mail". I have heard from some people here that say that means it's a rejection. She is finishing up her sophomore year there and this is the last time she will apply. She applied last year after her freshman year. I guess it's very difficult to transfer to Michigan after one year. I hope she gets accepted this time. Anyone have any feelings about this?

If she gets a bad news even with 3.89 G.P.A., I guess it is really hard to transfer to University of Michigan LSA although applying for Junior year
Or maybe there was something in her application that the admission team did not like
But I hope she does not hear the bad news
Let us know when she gets the mail if its all right with you and your niece

Will do lum2008. She is well qualified to get in. They told her that even last year. It could be just a case of it getting tougher and tougher every year to get into the top schools in the whole country.

I see. I definitely agree that every year it gets even more competitive

lum2008, you've been so persistent on the thread from day one
really best luck to you!

btw, im oos

Thank you so much marthanovera!
I really do hope/want to get in for the Fall

Just got my decision today...

Unbelievable!!!! I had a 3.33 GPA at the local community college and a 2.3 High School GPA. Didn't submit any test scores, I seriously fluked my way into the university. I'm telling you right now to all the high school people who didn't get in, go to community college, and transfer.

Congrats, Draftnik. Were you in-state?

Yes I was.
