Did anyone here take a non-ap us history class, and still 730+ the SATII?

I really don't know what else to take other than Math lvl 2. I'm not really special in any other subject, so I'm most likely going to take the US history one at the end of the year, seeing as I like history so i assume it will be easier to study for.

My question is:
How well do the test books prepare you? Or does the bulk of the skill come from what you learn in class.

What book should I get?

Thank you :)
Hope you all did good on your own tests yesterday! As for me, I'll be lucky if I hit 1900. Good thing it was my first time though... I still have a year to perfect it.

That'll be me in June :P

Well, do you also plan on taking the US history test?

I'm from Ukraine and I never studied USH in school. I got Barrons and Kaplan books and went through those, did all the practice tests in books and all I could find online. After like a month of self studying I got 720, with which I am more than happy =)

What the hell, that's crazy :O

i took my regular ush class in school which only covers up to the new deal. i got an 800 and i didn't self study. i suppose i guessed well on the more recent questions
