Yes, I tried logging in the regular way, no decision.

I was going to study for finals, but this is interesting.

that stupid link made me find out i was deferred...... :( great... i rather find out thursday at 5, but no0oo

so did anybody find out that they were deferred? either people were accpeted/rejected or it wasn't up yet....so are all those people whose decisions weren't up yet deferred?

Man, it looks like I missed something exciting. I can wait though.

no, it was either accepted, rejected, deferred, or not up yet

oops nevermind

what were ur stats suubiex?

my friend was deferred

if they know u went on the site, will they reject u automatically without telling you? or accept you...THEN reject you

how the hell should anybody know the answer to that?

if those decisions really weren't meant to be seen, then why would cornell bother putting up a message to tell people that their decisions hadn't been made yet? i mean, wouldn't they just not put anything at all?

we shall find out tommorow morning. Stop freaking out people. They WONT REJECT US FOR SOMETHING AS RIDICULUOUS AS THIS

Essay: Wrote about robotics in the short statement
My main essay was about me bieng raised by a jewish mother and a muslim father, camp rising sun, teaching english to russian immigrants, and a little about myself.

Reccomendations: one was really good, from an english teacher
the other was OK, but i recived a better one that ill send for when they reconsider me for RD, i have one written by a college professor at Albany, which i hope they got. Counselors was probably good, didnt read it.

What killed me (probably) were the match essays that cornell places an emphasis on, i'll try to resubmit those...

if anybody has anything to add or say i have AIM: XsuubieX and i wouldnt mind some consolation lol

didn't the kids from last year hear back a full five days early? whats the big deal?! we didnt do anything wrong...

ye, plus when it says decisions havent been made, that emans it wasnt posted up yet, cus when i actually called this afternoon before this mishap, they said all applicants have been decided on.

WTG Cornell with the security...

Honestly - it looks like someone from last year just saved the URL that had the decisions and Cornell used the exact same URL this year without any security whatsoever. They shouldn't even have those pages online yet (just on their server ready to release).

I'm afraid to check that link now, thanks for scaring me sparticus (lol). But anyway - that's really wierd that they have letters on there already that say "We have not yet made a decision," because I was under the impression that ALL ED decisions would be posted on the 15th, so to write a letter to the applicant saying a decision hasn't been made yet is kind of strange if we aren't really supposed to be at that page (you'd think it would just come up blank or something, not with a written letter like that).

Anyway - what you guys did is not "hacking" at all. That page was public for all to see...

"to write a letter to the applicant saying a decision hasn't been made yet is kind of strange if we aren't really supposed to be at that page (you'd think it would just come up blank or something, not with a written letter like that)."

exactly my point!

tell me something, im really really tempted to check tomorrow afternoon for those of us who didnt get it yet whose message says "not yet decided".......wat do u think will happen if we check? i honestly will say i cannot bare to watch everyone with their decisions and not know mine tomorrow.

So jeremy, is your point good or bad? Is your point saying tha tpeople with ND mean they are rejected/deferred? I am so confused

just wait. not worth playing with fire with the possibility of getting burnt, bklyn2cornell.
