Did I apply to James Madison too late? (Transfer student)

Hi all, I’m a 2nd year community college student and I just applied to James Madison in the end of January. I spoke to the person who handles all transfer admissions and also to a counselor at James madison. They both said I have nothing to worry about, but I still panicked a bit (working on it).

My current gpa is a 3.75 and is was home schooled during high-school, so that’s all I have under my belt grade wise. I volunteered a lot, worked, and also performed a lot. Most recently, I’ve been performing on campus(they don’t know that). My choreography has also been used on campus as well. I’m antsy and impatient because someone else who applied heard within a week and he has a 4.0. Same community college, also to JMC but he apparently has connections of some sort. It’s been 6 weeks now and I don’t want to worry or be impatient, but what do you guys think?

I don’t think you should worry whatsoever. I applied one week before the deadline and received my decision letter within a matter of two weeks.

I got accepted into the college of business. I hope you heard back already! If not, I got my fingers crossed for you:)

I did!! I think I was officially accepted lol I’m having heart palpitations!!
“Congratulations! We are delighted to inform you that you have been offered admission to Michigan State University. Your admission is contingent upon the successful completion of all remaining course work listed in your application to Michigan State University. Official transcripts from any U.S. domestic institution must be submitted immediately. An additional transcript for any current or anticipated coursework must be provided after the grades are posted.”

So I just have to stay above a 3.0 I was told, but yup!
