Unfortunately for commuting and personal reasons, I couldn’t apply out of state. I live in OC so going to schools around me would be preferable. The only NEW information what I stated in my post.

Update:
I was just accepted by Cal Long Beach today and I actually feel pretty good! I talked things over with my dad and friend from Berkeley. They said I should take things as it is and just do my GE’s then transfer over. Fortunately, my dad took this better than I expected. He finally understood the highly selective process and is supporting me and my goals.
@YodamaMaster Have you hear back from UCR, Fullerton, or Cal Poly Pomona? I’m still waiting on Fullerton and Pomona. Just wondering if they send out any more acceptances yet…
I heard back from fullerton in February but I’m also waiting for Pomona. The reply date for Pomona is April 1st
