Did I pick the right school for a transfer student?

So, I just submitted my application last week...

I have a 3.71GPA, CCC transfer, IGETC and Prereq's completed, Political Science is my major.

Anyways...I applied to these schools in this order.

Earl Warren:1, Sixth College:2, Thurgood Marshall:3, John Muir:4, Eleanor Roosevelt:5, Revelle:6

Now, I didn't do the best of research when I was doing this. I went to the transfer center at my CC and they helped me pick the colleges( i should have known, they have never been helpful). Now I feel like I picked all the wrong schools for me. I wanted to take as few classes as possible outside my major; I'm horrible at Math and sick of Writing classes.

So I guess what I'm asking is... What is Warren going to require if I get in there?
Will I be able to change my schools when it comes time in january 1st and I can make changes to my application? (I'm assuming no) If I can change, what would you recommend? Muir?

I'm not as concerned about a social life since I live in orange county and my friends are still here, I also have friends and family in San Diego county so thats not a problem, and I'm not going to live on campus. If its the social life that is going to be the differences between Muir and Warren as a transfer then you just made my day.

Alright, so I did a little more research and found that if Warren does accept me I

  1. don’t have to take the warren writing courses
  2. only have to take 2 courses outside my major (question: what kind of courses?)
and 3) take however many units within my major

Is this right?

You have to take 3 upper division courses outside your discipline (which is social sciences), you could take history, philosophy ect., here is a chart that explains it

^^^why are engineering majors not allowed to take Econ classes??

As I understand it you could take econ classes if you need extra credits, but they don’t count for the discipline requirement (for I don’t know what reason). Marshall has a similar discipline requirement but I don’t see anything saying eng majors can’t use econ classes, that’s weird Warren says you can’t.
