Did I screw up badly?

This is about the self-reported coursework section of the application. I got into Berkeley, and have submitted the SIR, but now I'm worried that I may have filled out part of the section wrong.

The first issue is regarding a course level change. During freshman year, I attended a different high school. There, I started in "Latin I AE", but in the middle of the year moved to the higher "Latin I H". By reading my school's handbook, it would appear that this would be listed as

Latin I AE - W
Latin I H - A-

My old school only gave out one grade per year, so I listed only "Latin I H - A" on the coursework section. I tried making a new account to check, but couldn't get past the "select campus" page. Were there any specific instructions on whether these dropped courses could be left out, or if they should have been listed?

My second issue was found while searching for the first - On this page: University of California - Counselors it states that "Only courses designated as UC-certified honors courses on the school’s official UC-certified course list may be listed as honors. UC-certified honors courses are starred on the list. To indicate a course is a UC-approved honors course, students should enter the appropriate two-letter code in the space provided: AP for Advanced Placement courses, IB for International Baccalaureate courses, HL for other UC-approved honors courses on the school's UC-certified course list and CL for transferable college/university courses"

Neither of my two high schools were in California. Something like the above instructions was on the application section, and so I didn't mark any classes HL. However, I did mark my AP and IB classes as AP and IB. From the above, it appears that this is something that should not have been done?

I'm really worried...can anyone shed any light on either of these issues? It would be much appreciated.

You are good.

From the UC official site - [University of California - Counselors](http://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/educators/counselors/resources/askuc/answers/calculating.html#2)

How do you calculate an out-of-state applicant’s GPA? Do you give extra credit for AP courses even if thle school doesn’t have “UC-certified” courses?
In calculating a nonresident’s GPA, UC will grant honors weight for AP or IB courses only, but not for school-designated honors courses.

Phew, so OOS AP/IB classes don’t have to be UC-approved?

Also, what about the Lati course level change? Should the previous level have been reported, and do I now need to beg for forgiveness?

Just e-mail them and let them know. I had a similar problem where I had two periods of AP Chemistry but I put it down as one class (by UC telephone instructions) and averaged the grades. I let them know and they said it would be fine as long as you meet the other requirements.

YES!!!

I’m NOT RESCINDED!!!

Great to hear. Go Bears!
