Did not pass the uc writting exam...

Is this really bad that I didnt pass?
I ve never gotten below an A in english and now I am going to be put in a basic writing class? This is so stupid. Does anyone know what they base their criteria on?

It’s not the end of the world, but calling it stupid isn’t going to fix your problem.

lol you’re gonna have to take SDCC. Worlds ****tiest class. 2 times a week, 2.5 hours long each. you have to write quite alot of essays. also you have to pass the class and the final test which is basically the last essay you write. honestly i sucked ass at writing and bsed my way through it. you shouldn’t have a problem passing the class, just maybe staying awake in it.

It’s really not that bad, SDCC is just annoying from what I heard but easy to pass. Then after that you’ll be right on track again, shouldn’t really put you behind at all since you have a good amount of time to finish college writing req’s if scheduled right just don’t delay taking them too long. Also college writing is pretty hard compared to high school level english, they just have different expectations and types of writing. At least for me, it was like a great change and this is coming from someone who took AP English and honors English all of high school, and got 5 on the AP exam. So don’t underestimate college writing, though it prob does vary from college to college.

Psh that class is a betch. You don’t learn anything new AT ALL! Every week we had to write an in-class essay which wasn’t bad, the topics were just stupid! Enroll in Bobby’s class, she’s nice and chill. No outside homework/essays.
