Did Pitt receive my SAT scores?

Hey guys, so on Pitt's my application status page, it says under the Outstanding items for this application part that my sat scores have not been received. But on collegeboard it says that my scores were sent on September 5. Does this mean the scores are still on the way maybe? Or do I have to resend them?

They’re probably still on the way if the College Board said they were sent and Pitt didn’t yet receive them. You probably shouldn’t resend them if it says they’ve already been sent recently.

Thanks! How much time should i give it before resending?

You’re welcome! I would at least give it a week. Is there some way to contact the College Board to inquire about if the scores haven’t arrived at your college yet? It might be better to contact them and ask before you resend them.

I’ll try emailing them. Thank you for helping!

No problem, and good luck with Pitt! :)

I also sent my daughter’s SAT and ACT scores and both were reportedly sent electronically on September 5. According to the application status, the scores have not been received yet. I suspect that it takes about a week for the process to be complete. I will have her call on Friday or Monday if the scores are not posted.

I think it’s highly likely the scores were received, but the status page has not been updated. Give it till Friday at least.

Colleges receive 1000s of SAT/ACT scores every day. What I’ve told from other schools is that it takes few days to go to the respective student’s folder. So wait for few days…

I called Pitt today and was told that it takes a few weeks for your application status to be updated.

Yesterday the application status changed indicating that the tests were received ( sent in on 9/4). I called the school just to verify that they received the SAT and the ACT and they did. It was not clear from the status checker. All we are waiting for is the transcript.

Yes I think it takes about a week for the SAT scores.

Update: My application status was updated yesterday as well and it says they received my SAT scores.
