<p>i havent received an email regarding a deferral yet but apparently, everyone at my school has! these kids are smart too and im not sure why. is anyone else experiencing this problem??</p>

<p>besides, it was literally everyone who applied there! my school's in georgia too and is one of the top public high schools here. we've already had like eight psps chosen too.</p>
<p>i called the admissions office. They are only sending emails for deferrals and letters for acceptances. They are not currently denying ppl</p>

<p>well if you go to a top pub HS, then ur 3.5 could be better than my 4.0 at an average school. Actually I have no idea if they do it like that.</p>

<p>Yes, Tech did screw up. They went full retard like Simple Jack. All these wonderful applicants and they did not take up the opportunity to send them an acceptance letter.</p>
<p>Hope Tech doesn't track me down by my ip address and screw me over for saying this. GT is a wonderful school by the way.</p>
<p>Don't be so butthurt guys, I didn't get PSP when I applied but I'm still here. :( I did get a hefty scholarship though (about 3/4 tuition cost).</p>

<p>I got deferred, too.</p>
<p>I spoke to my admissions advisor at Tech, and she said that it doesn't really mean much of anything yet. A crapload of people get deferred, but because of Tech's large acceptance rate it doesn't automatically mean "slim-chance" like at other colleges. In fact, I'd say that your chances are the same as though you applied Regular Decision, yeah?</p>
