Did the passing of prop 30 make admissions to schools not as difficult?

I am planning to go to cal poly slo for kinesiology and everyone said that its really hard to get in because "the number of admitted students is shrinking due to the budget cuts."

Does this mean CSU's are going to start accepting a few more kids because we will be getting more funding?

I think it just means that there won’t be as many cuts. It doesn’t mean they will expand admissions.

I don’t remember everything but my professor in my poly sci class talked about it a bit. Prop 30 stops the bleeding but doesn’t mean anything more than that or at least that’s what I was told. Also iirc CSUs were limiting transfer students but I don’t know if that applies to you. CSUs in my area are being overwhelmed with students and have raised the entrance requirements. Too many students, not enough teachers, students are struggling to graduate within 4 years etc. The UCs seem to be doing okay.
