<p>Hey did anyone get a call from UCLA inviting them to apply for the alumni scholarships? I just got a call right now from some person from UCLA to apply to the alumni scholarships.</p>

<p>She asked if I was familiar with the website to find it. I said something like "yeah I check every day to see if I've been accepted yet" (nervous laughter on my end), that was the way I tried to get some more info out lol. =)</p>

I got a call from a man.</p>
<p>He said very similar to what this lady said, they just said it was for incoming tranfer students. and then stopped......I don't want to make him mad...so I just said thank you and politely hung up.</p>
<p>I didn't, but I don't have a 3.75 :(. Too bad they don't wait until after this semester as I will have higher than a 3.75 after it.</p>

<p>i got the call but then I asked if it's okay to apply even if you haven't been admitted yet. He said yes, they're trying to call all transfer applicants to apply. I'm not sure if getting a call means getting in. I got excited too but I'm not too sure what that means.</p>
<p>Yeah mine was a lady she said the alumni-merit scholarship for transfer and gave me the website. Then asked if I had any questions. I said no but thank you so much for calling. :)</p>
<p>I'm kind of embarassed... my mom answered the phone... yelled out my nickname and said, HEY! I think it's USC or UCLA (I had a near heart attack & cross my fingers they didn't hear) lol.</p>
