Did you get an email from each UC to set up your online portal?

I submitted my UC Application on 11/2 and the only campus that sent me instructions to set up my account is Berkeley. I received nothing from UCLA, UCSD, UCSB or UCI.

Do you have similar experience?

Some UC’s can take up to a month. UCSD states you will get instructions on how to setup your account in January. Check the admission timelines for all the campuses.

@Gumbymom - thank you. It’s been over 3 weeks and I was getting anxious. Berkeley seems to have a way to respond quickly - some people are getting requests for the letters of rec already.

Still haven’t received my account setup info from UCSD but I heard we are supposed to get an email sometime in December so I’m hoping it will be soon.

I only got emails from Berkeley (3 days after I submitted my app) and UCLA (just 2 days ago). Nothing from UCSD, UCI, UCSC, and UCD.

UCSD states you will get confirmation email that you have submitted your application in December, not necessarily your logon information. In the past, it was usually early January.

UCSB sent email giving instructions to set up portal January 3rd or after. Admissions decisions are scheduled for release on March 20th.

I received an email today from UCSD which contained instructions for logging into my applicant portal.

Same: got emails today from UCSD and UCD

Am i the only one that hasn’t received a portal from UCSD but has received from other schools like Berkeley, LA, Davis and Santa Barbara?

Do they send out in waves? We are OOS and haven’t received anything yet.

I think UCSD sends them out in waves since mine came on the 18th like collegefind1234 did. My UC Davis one came a few days before that though so it probably depends on the school.

Still haven’t received anything from UCSD yet. Maybe it’s time to call the Admission office?

This is weird. Still no email from UCSD, so I just have DS go to the UCSD admission portal and click “I forgot my password.” It immediately sent a “password reset” email over to his email account (which means UCSD.edu emails are not blocked) and he was able to login!

In the portal, there’s an “Application Survey” and a “California Residency for Tuition Purposes” form. Are these mandatory to fill out? Deadline?

In the “Application Survey”, it asks about “how you learned about UCSD,” and “College Confidential” is one of the choices. First time I’ve ever seen that. Lol.

Could someone please paste the content of the email you received from UCSD about the portal (remove any personal info, of course)? I want to see if there’s any other steps/deadlines we missed.

@bogeyorpar Here’s what I got from UCSD:

Thanks @collegefind1234 . Looks like we are all set and just need to wait for another 3 months for the result.
