Did you get in to USC with an 1800 or any of these colleges? and great e.c./ok gpa?

I have an 1800 on my SAT's...i'm retaking them in november but i don't know if they will see my score...is it better to send in the application early or does it not matter? I have to submit mine by December 1st.

My gpa is 3.8 unweighted, 4.2 weighted and will be higher by the end of my senior year or mid year report

Something that might make me stand out is that i've taken 15 college classes and gone up to Calculus 3 possibly calculus 4 just cuz i love math : ] and im going to major in neuroscience. i am a cofounder of a family owned hotel and volunteered and had work experience elsewhere.

these are my other choices of colleges:

nyu
colgate
pepperdine
claremont mckenna
stanford
loyola marymount
northwestern
occidental
pitzer
usf
ucla
ucberkely
ucirvine
ucsb
and of course usc..is my first choice.

aww no ucsd?

well i got into sd and irvine with 1950 and 4.0 weighted, decent EC’s.
rejected by berk, LA, Davis.
Didn’t bother applying to SC.

Sorry i can’t be much help since i didn’t apply to that school

USC loves high test scores…thus your chances at a merit scholarship (Dec 1 app date) are near zero. And, those test scores might result in an offer for Spring admission, but fall is a stretch.

Without a hook Stanford and Northwestern are extreme reaches. CMC is a poli sci-econ focused college, so interest in neuro and math will be a negative there.

junshik, are you from California?

You definitely want a higher SAT for USC. Shoot for over 2000 to have a good shot at most of these schools. It will definitely help you to be an in-state student for the UCs.

pepperdine- match
claremont mckenna- reach
stanford- don’t bother
loyola marymount- match
occidental- match
pitzer- reach
usf-match/safety
ucla- reach
ucberkely- reach
ucirvine- match
ucsb- match
