Did you get your grades yet?

I'm just wondering because I finished one of my classes 2 weeks ago (including the final) but the grade's not up yet. I've only gotten 1 of my grades but I finished all of my finals a week ago.
Did you guys get your grades yet?

According to this site, grades are due 72 hours after the final. Is this true or practiced?

http://ls.berkeley.edu/?q=taxonomy/term/33/0

i got 2 of my grades(out of 5).
i remember reading somewhere that it takes up to a month for all the grades to be up.(depending on your class)
just be patient:)

I'm 0/4 right now. My boyfriend's fall semester grades came in within 2 weeks, except for 1 which took almost until spring semester started to show. Seems to me that they don't enforce that 72 hours thing too well.

do you just check bearfacts for your grades?

Yep. Under the "Academic Record" tab, click "Current Term Grades" and adjust it so you can see Spring 2007. Says on the "Prior Term Grades" page that "Grades are available about four weeks after the last day of final exams," which would be June 14.

ETA: Got two of my grades today. Unfortunately it was the two I knew already, and one of the remaining two is from the same professor as gave my boyfriend his grade shortly before the beginning of the following semester. Shucks.

Received all five of my grades yesterday

I'm 2/4 now. They're both A's, whoopee!

Make sure you switch the tab to final grades. The default is midterm grades.

im 2/4 right now.....

ahh i was A, A+, A but i got an A- today haha so no dean's list this semester. ohhhh well

whats the benfefit of being on the dean's list?

its top 4% at berkeley.. go figure. if ur top 4% berkeley that just says a lot

well, i made deans list last semester and i'll make it this semester too (i have a 4.0), but besides the fact of knowing youre in the top 4%, are there any other benefits?

u are very competitive if u apply for scholarships because its not easy to get dean's list at cal. I got a 4.0 first semester but only 3.915 this semester.

really? i have never applied to a scholarship, where should one start. I dont really want to write long essays for each scholarship....are there any that dont require essays?

go to the dean's list website and they have a link where you can look for scholarships. No one like to write essays, thats why they make u do it, so only people that care will apply and the money they give away is worth it.

I've never understood the point of offering an A+ unless its weighted to mean somthing more than an A. I guess it gives you bragging rights, but its really just the college version of a gold star.

^^^in law school admissions, an A+ is worth 4.3

How do you know if you've made the dean's list?

ab_med, where did you see that about law school? Its good news if its true, but I just assumed that grad schools wouldn't go back and recalculate your GPA to add in A+s. I know Berkeley doesn't add anything for an A+, but maybe they're worth something afterall.

A+ are worth 4.3 at some schools.. I think UCLA and USC do that. CAL sucks cuz they just give 4.0 boooooo
