yes? no? recommend it at all?

I've had a livejournal blog for several years. I don't keep paper journals because I'm too lazy to write in them everyday. I'll update my LJ every week or two with what's been going on, or how the latest new movie was, or how I'm dealing with all the effing drama going on lately, etc.

no (10 char)

I'm with AUlostchick. I've had a livejournal for what feels like forever. Awesome journal: and no handwriting necessary! :)

Ditto to the Livejournal.

Yeah, online is the way to go. Writing takes too much time, much easier to push off, and can't exactly show to your friend halfway across the country. Some might like the feel of curling up with a notebook and just writing though.

If you don't write in one in HS, you won't suddenly pick up the habbit in college. I too, use a livejournal as I can share it with friends. I also have a tracker on mine so I can see who checks it, which I find kind of interesting.

I keep a written journal mainly because i enjoy writing...I will probably keep one in college as well.

i have an online one that i've had for years.

equine99, how do you get a tracker?

Never knew you could get a tracker for livejournal. That's why I switched to blogger.com.

Oh well...but yeah, I've had a blog for a couple years and plan to continue in college. It's great. I would definitely suggest starting one.

sorry for sounding naive, but who reads all your livejournals and blogs, anyways? do you tell people to just look at it, or do random people see it?

I have a link to it on facebook, and on my AIM. Usually it's people I know, but sometimes I'll get a random one. It doesn't give a name but it gives a town and state and ip address, so you can generally sort of figure it out.

I have a few RL friends on there, but it's mostly online friends who read it.

Yeah like equine99, I have links on my facebook, AIM, and even here lol. Most of my readers are just RL friends, but there are many random people. Hell, I like blogging so much that my college essay was about blogging.
