Did you leave the "Summer 2010 Coursework" blank? Is it bad if we do? I should be done with the IGETC by this semester...

please, anyone? I’m hoping to submit by tonight.

I left mine blank. I finish IGETC and all my premajor courses. I just explained that I had no coursework planned because there were no more courses to take. They cannot penalized you for that reason.

i wrote not applicable since summer session at my cc might be cut

i left it blank, i said i would be done with all my pre reqs so i wouldnt need it.

Thanks guys!

Btw CalBearGuy you rock man, I really hope you get into Berkeley. You’ve been so helpful on this board since before November.

@Oliver_Twist thank you! I hope you get into your top choice school as well!

I’m a Philosophy major, however, there aren’t any philosophy classes that articulate from my CCC to Berkeley.

That being said, I met with my counselor and she told me that if I write that I will take my philosophy courses (prereqs) at a nearby CCC over summer, then I will have an even greater chance of being accepted. I may or may not take these courses, especially considering summer is so far away, but either way this should help (or at least cannot hurt) my chances of being accepted.

My counselor said that it will look like I’m diligent and very serious about completing prereqs as soon as possible…and Berkeley wants you in and out as soon as possible.

^sucks for UCB cuz i wanna stay there 3 years, atleast 2.5, just to soak it all up, hahahahaha (if i get innnn)

Tell me about it…assuming I into Cal I want to stick around 3 years minimum…do they actually set a max limit for courses you can take?

i lieft it blank and said n/a

yea. my friend said it was a stupid question. how am i suppose to know what classes im taking in summer 2010. you don’t know what classes are offered and even if you’ll get in the class. plus if i did write planned courses. i would have to notify them if i changed my mind and not take them.

I left it blank, but I might re update it for the first time because my counselor told me that you can finish IGETC by the summer so I might take a summer class if I go to Davis to complete one more class for IGETC.

Cal is pretty strict on years/units. Generally, you can’t stay longer than 2 years unless you’re under 120 units. You have to petition to stay longer, and have a valid reason. You can’t just hang out until you feel like graduating.
