I went in to talk to a Berk representative at my college, and they said that they cut off people who are planning to finish their pre-reqs in the summer. :( Do you think appealing to Berkeley is worth it? Is it doable?

I’m not sure if I follow. So if you put any planned summer courses as pre-reqs, they automatically deny you admission. If you don’t put any planned summer courses and just apply with missing pre-reqs, you still have a chance? That doesn’t make much sense.

edit: some majors require a minimum to be done by spring (listed on the articulation agreement). She might have been referring to these requirements.

They want the major-prereqs – the courses listed on the articulation agreement-- finished in the spring prior to transfer. My major, statistics, doesn’t have a minimum( like bio, chem, or phys), i have to do all of the major prep.
