I am hoping to study abroad in Vienna, Austria Spring 2015.
The program gives me an opportunity to do a supervised teaching of English into a Viennese school, which would be an amazing experience (I want to become a teacher)

But I feel as though that since Vienna is not a very popular study abroad location, does that mean that going to Vienna would not be such a good idea?

I studied abroad for a year in Italy and loved it. I only visited Vienna, but I enjoyed my time there. You may actually enjoy the experience better if you are NOT otherwise surrounded by other students there abroad.

Vienna is fabulous. Plenty of kids head there for a college year or semester. If you were my kid, I’d say, see how much teaching it really is, what context, since English is routinely taught in the hs college bound programs.
