Did YOU use Stanford's custom mailing labels for your app?

I, being the rebel I am, did not.

Plus I didn't know about them until after I'd given all the forms to my counselor & teachers :D

Did you guys use them, or just use your own address labels?

Nope... XD

i used them cuz they said to...

Yeah I used them
Freaked me out though because they were a little difficult to find on the site. Then I was expecting other colleges I applied to to do the same thing, and I couldn't find them so I got all stressed, thinking that I was going to get docked for not having them...haha

nope...whatever

Yes, of course!

Yeah I did, but I really don't think they'll penalize you for it...would they?

They won't decline a well qualified applicant because he/she didn't see a small statement with those labels. Makes things easier for them but you won't be penalized.

I did on some last year when I realized they provided them after I had mailed in most of my stuff. It doesn't really matter, as I got accepted, etc.

Yea i did, what a pain.

nope

..............

i did because they said to, but i think they shouldn't do that from now on.
it's a pain, annoying, and a waste of my money in all honesty.

i'd much rather just send everything in one big envelope rather than have to send everything separately, then have it all separated when it's at the post office and come in at different times probably.

Yes, I followed their directions to a T but it left a very
bad taste.

The only parts missing were instructions like "...place the label 30 cm to
the left and 45 cm from the top....we will subtract 10 points from your
SAT scores for each minor infraction and 30 for every major one...."
:)

Maybe they are putting up a bunch of rules to
help them reduce the number of people
needed to sort and process the incoming materials.....

I sincerely hope that graduate admissions at Stanford
will be a different experience.

hahaha arwen15. I agree... how presumptuous of them to ask us to do that!

I used the mailing labels, but only by looking at them on my computer screen and writing what it said onto my envelope. :)
