You know those mailing labels that Stanford really wants you to use? The ones individually labeled "school report", "teacher evaluation" and so forth? Well I've printed the page out from the website. Now, my counselor is insisting that we send in one big huge envelope with EVERYTHING in it: school report, international supplement (I live in Europe), teacher recs, etc.

So do I attach like five of the mailing labels to one envelope? Or do I absolutely have to send five different envelopes with separate forms?

5 different. The mailing labels aren't dumb. They are for your benefit and theirs. And tell your counselor, that the school requires it this way. and since you are paying for the postage ask him why it even matters?

I understand what they're trying to do, but now I'm going to have to pay around 20 dollars for stamps for just one school since I live so far away. So that's kind of frustrating.

I see, but think of it this way. Getting into Stanford is worth a lot more than just $20. plus I live in the US and I paid $20 for some of the mail.
