I see most people got their housing offers already, but I have not gotten mine yet in email or mail. However, I applied for the Asian Theme House thing. Did anyone else do this and has not received a house offer. Or does anyone know if applying for theme housing will cause a delay?

Well, apparently we are in the same boat. I applied for a theme, and I haven't recieved my housing offer. The comments I read on the threads terrorize me, as people who already got their offers are not too pleased with them. Hopefully I won't get rejected from the theme and end in an awful quad somewhere.

Same here, I am scared to check my email to get a bad dorm. What does quad mean exactly?

As far as I know, a quadruple (4 people in one room) grunts

I think a quad is four rooms (either doubles or triples or both) surrounding one common room. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Dang, I was afraid of that. 4 people to a room should be cruel and unusual punishment, since it would be so stuffy and squished. I would be so sad if i got a quadruple, and I would probably call them everyday and request a switch

Oh, thanks for the correction. In that case it doesn't sound awful

Here's a picture (a small one) of what a suite with 4 bedrooms (ie quad) looks like in Foothill. Apparently, each quad has its own bathroom.

aw, come on, don't give up hope yet. i got my first choice and all of my friends have gotten either their 1st or 2nd choices. maybe most of the people who post on here are just looking for ways to vent some anger (understandable, of course). so hang in there, because there really isn't much you can do about it at this point.

Actually, a quad refers to the set up in Bowles Hall where two rooms flank a central room. The two rooms house two beds each and the central room serves as a commons area for the 4 residents. So a quad is three rooms with 4 residents.

I finally got my housing offer, and I haven't heard anything from the theme. I guess they rejected me.

I'm in FPF, and my housing offer doesn't come until July. You guys think you got it bad, I have to be tortured for another 2 months...
