okay, so I just got my housing offer and have until 7/13 to accept it. the problem is it's in foothill and isn't that pretty far from where fpf classes are held? the email says I can request a transfer (was hoping for unit 3), but I can only do it after I reserve a spot, otherwise I'll lose everything all together and have to find off campus housing :/

I just got an offer too. Not sure if I really want it though because it’s Theme Program housing and I would have to take an extra class, which I don’t really have room in my schedule for. I don’t know what to do either right now.

I got a Foothill triple. I’ll accept and request a transfer for the units.

On second thought, I’m really leaning towards declining this one altogether.

If I got somewhere else like Foothill, I would accept and request a transfer like you guys since failure to transfer wouldn’t be that bad. But if I accept the offer, ask to transfer, and fail, the situation would be much worse for me because I would have to completely revamp my schedule to make room for a new class and a seminar (which, looking at the seminar’s syllabus on the website, I want to stay as far away from as possible). Private housing here I come, I suppose.

yeah that’s what i was thinking, (i just accepted the offer) but now i’m sort of confused. do we state what we want to transfer to in the email? or just leave our name and ID

So are the only offers so far Foothill only? Are there any units that are offered?

Wait I thought the offers were out a long time ago… Or are you talking about the details released like room floor, number, and roommates?

battler, what theme program offer did you get?..i got a WiSE offer, not sure what to do…

^^ SoCaliii, these are FPF housing offers.

where do you see what kind of housing you got? my email just tells me to accept or decline

Login to your housing application to see your offer.

i just got the offer today for a clark kerr triple… kinda bummed bc its so far from the FPF building… but juts happy to get an offer i suppose…

anyone know when the next batch will be out? or which lottery numbers received offers today?

@pasq. CK is actually only two blocks from FPF

Yeah, I just got a unit 1 triple, but I was kind of hoping for a double… Are doubles pretty much out of the picture this late in the game, or should I attempt to transfer? And when do we find out who our roommates are and all the other details?

I heard someone got a unit 1 double.
I’m still waiting :(

CK triple probably with the other two guys I requested. I’m pretty happy.

Hey fishfood, what lottery number were you? cause i’m really hoping to get the units. Does anyone know what lottery number they went up to today for the housing offers??

hmmidk: Sorry, I never found out my lottery number. ><

I got an APATH offer. Though I am not adverse to taking the class due to the subject matter, it’s the time element that makes it a decisive factor. As for the seminar, that type of class just doesn’t appeal to me at all.

In retrospect, I probably shouldn’t have applied to the Theme Program at all. I meant it to be more of a last resort back up just in case I didn’t get regular housing. My idea was that they would give you both a Theme Program assignment and a regular housing assignment, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. I was aware of the class requirements when I was applying as well, but since then, I’ve been tweaking my schedule quite a bit and I realize I can no longer fit those things into my schedule. So this is the way it turns out. I’ll probably end up signing up for Telegraph Commons since they are so close to campus.
