Didn't get invited to Film School interview, can I still major in film/tv production?

Unfortunately I wasn't invited by the FSU film school to participate in the interview process but I really want to major in film/tv production. Would it be possible for me to major in that area of study at FSU even though I didn't get into the film school there?

And does UF have a good film major/program? I recently got accepted there.

I don’t know the answer; but I suggest you call the Film School and explore your options.

Uf has some sort of film program, but it is not the same.

advisors will tell you to put down your major as Communications in Media Production, and try the film school application again next year. Or possibly, a Creative Writing major if you’re interested in screenwriting.

No you cannot, the Film program is a conservatory, if you don’t get invited to an interview, then you can major in it. The best shot if you still want to get in is to apply as a transfer, that way you have a much higher chance of getting in.

As for the UF film program, I advise you not to do it. The FSU film program is nationally ranked in the upper part of the top 10, and even in some rankings, they are number 1.

Hope that answered your question.
