Hello everyone!

I am new here. I'm a student at University of Tampa currently majoring in Film & Media Arts. The film program at Tampa is under the College of Arts & Letters. However, I realize that the more prestigious College of Motion Picture Arts at FSU may act as a better school in helping me prepare for the future. My only issue is that FSU Film only lets in 30 applicants per year.

Because of the very low admission rate, I'm thinking of applying for the College of Communications with a major in Media Production. (Temorarily)

Basically, what I'm asking is, would i have a better chance at making it into the film school by staying at Tampa with my current major and applying, or would I have a better chance applying from inside of the school as a Media Production major?
