Alright, so I applied to CMU DC as a potential International Relations and Policy major, but I just now realized that I was supposed to take a Math I or II SAT II. I took World History and US History (earning 740 and 750 respectively), but not the required Math I or II. Am I immediately out with time and money wasted in an application, or am I just disadvantaged?

You are probably at a big disadvantage since “I forgot” isn’t a good reason to not submit a required score. Although if the rest of your application is splendid, it will improve your chances.

To future posters/lurkers wondering how this turned out: called CMU; they said it’s not a big deal at all. Told me no need to worry; I’m not in some instant reject pile. They’re extremely friendly! :)
