Hi Everyone!
I’m really interested in going to the Dietrich College of Humanities and Social Sciences and majoring in Policy and Management.
However, my biggest problem is that I don’t know much about this major in terms of where people go after they graduate. I want to do something related to business after I graduate hopefully become a consultant.
So can anyone shed some light on that? maybe a parent, student or alum who went to Carnegie Mellon.
Also, how rigorous is this course?
I am not science type of guy. I actually really want to do business but I have not taken the SAT II for math and I think this is the next best thing. So my question is will I fit in to this school? and also, is this major a good business alternative?
Thanks!
Taking Math 2 is required for admission into CMU for all of its schools right? Anyway, Dietrich is a great school and is the highest earning Humanities and Social Sciences school in the country ($70,000 starting salary).
