<p>I have to take both Multivariable Calc and Differential Equations next year, but I have to chose one of them to take first semester with a very diffcult teacher. Is there one that is easier than the other? Also, Multi Calc is Math 241 and Diff Eq is Math 242, so is there one that should generally be taken before the other? I want to definitley take the easier one with this teacher, so any help is appreciated.</p>
<p>I found Diff Eq a bit easier, and as they're taught at my school they can be taken in either order.</p>
<p>at my school, multi was alot easier(I took them both at the same time). Though I never took the finals for either, because I go to Virginia Tech</p>
<p>I'm taking Multivariable over the summer here at Vanderbilt, and here they are generally done in order of Multivariable (Math 175) then Diff Eq (Math 196 or 198, something like that).</p>
