<p>I would like some advise on the following - any pointers helpful. We are applying to BU for my daughter who is an entering freshman.</p>
<p>Does BU award any BS degrees?
For all the Biology courses, the Degree shown is BA?</p>
<p>What is the difference?</p>

<p>no substantive difference…I think all the degrees in the College of Arts and Sciences are BAs because it’s a liberal arts school. In the Sargent School of Rehabilitation Sciences or whatever the heck it’s called the degrees are BS’s. Same goes with the College of Communication…I think you can get a BS in Communication or something like that. But a Biology degree will still focus on science and research…no need to worry that it won’t prepare you for med school or something like that.</p>
