Difference between Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of the Arts?

I noticed on the Application Summary for my app that it says I applied for Bachelor of Science for Human Bio instead of Bachelor of the Arts…What is the difference and should I chance it now?

Brown offers either a Bachelor of Science (Sc.B.) or a Bachelor of Arts (A.B.) to undergraduate students depending on their concentration. An Sc.B. is more intensive, usually requiring quite a bit more coursework and a term of independent research or some similar course. Since you’re not actually applying for the concentration (and won’t until sophomore year), there’s no reason to actually change it. Sc.B. students and A.B. students are admitted into the same program.
