Hi everyone… I’ll have to write a report about IB and IGCSE curriculum, but I still don’t get it exactly-
Is IG part of IB? What is the difference between the two of them? What are the different age groups? Which is more widely recognized, and why?
Or… can anyone suggest a few good links?
Thanks!

That took me less than two minutes with Google.
I bet there’s something in Wikipedia too.
IGCSE is not equivalent to IB. IGCSE is for freshmen and sophomores, and is primarily conducted by CIE and Edexcel. The A levels are equivalent to IB, and are conducted by numerous boards (CIE, Edexcel, OCR, AQA, MEI, etc.).
The IB has three stages; the IBPYP, the IBMYP (this is equivalent to IGCSE) and the IBDP (this is equivalent to A levels).
The IBDP and A levels are for the 16-18 age group, the IGCSE and IBMYP is for the 14-16 group.
Both the IBDP and the A levels are equally recognized.
Between the IBMYP and the IGCSE, in my experience, the IGCSE is more recognized, but only because the IBMYP isn’t very popular. The IB starts to get popular at the Diploma level, i.e. IBDP.
IB is two years after IGCSE.
They belong to two different certification groups.

IGCSE exams are conducted by CIE, but who conducts IB exams? @MYOS1634
You’re mixing up the terms. The IB is the organization that conducts the exams. The IB conducts the IBDP, IBMYP, and the IBPYP. The organization is IB. The exams are IBDP, IBMYP, and the IBPYP.
