I understand that the College Board got rid of Math IIC, but is/was there any difference between the IIC and II? I went to the bookstore to get a Math II prep book (Barron's), but they only had IIC prep books (so I bought it anyway). Are they the same? If not, what are some of the differences/similarities? Thanks!

No differences that I know of...it's the same test with a different name. I have no idea why.

they renamed the tests when they came out with the "new" SAT.

O okay, thanks for the replies. I assume that I can just use Barrons' Math IIC prep book to prepare for the Math II test. By the way, has Barrons come out with a Math II book? I'm sure they are very similar if not the same, but I'm just curious. Thanks!! Also, how difficult would it be to gain a good score on the Math IIC (if I've already taken pre-calculus and trig/alg. 2) compared to a science or language (non-Chinese, Korean, Japanese) test?

Also, I bought PR's SAT II Physics prep book. Will this suffice in covering all the major topics? Thanks for any opinions!

Is it okay to assume that Barrons doesn't have a separate Math II book?
I also understand that Barrons is more difficult than the actual test, but just as a general rule of thumb, how many points higher can I expect on the actual test compared to Barrons' tests?

Are there hyperbolas or ellipses on the Math II tests? Can someone show me a link to College Board's test overview that describes what the test is comprised of? I tried searching through their website, but I couldn't find it. Thanks
