while the ACT is a much simpler persuasive prompt. Both require arguements but the SAT seems more sophisticated.</p>

<p>very much so. The SAT essay is actually about formulating a good argument and having some depth to it whereas you don’t necessarily need to write a lot to get your point across. In short it’s more quality vs quantity. The ACT’s essay on the other hand is definitely something that’s primarily a quantitative thing. Just write and use plenty of SAT vocabulary words and you’re sure to get at least a 10</p>
